How can I mention my dislike for my new job? w/o loosing my job?

I applied at th e Wynn for a position that required more than what was on the job advertisement. When I begun the job it turned out to be more than What was expected How do I request to be transferred to another department of my liking.

first of all, hang tuff and look at the extra responsibilities as an opportunity to learn different aspects of Wynn.

When the time allows, or the opportunity arises, meet the people (workers and management) from the other departments. Introduce yourself and casually ask questions about the section.

When your 3 month probation is over, there should be a performance  evaluation. By then you should have your mind made up about where you want to be, and why. Explain to them how you would be of greater value in that department. You might have networked enough to even have the section manager arrange it for you. Good luck.
