  1. Just look out side your window and watch a Dog, observe that. When ever the Dog sit, first he cleans the surface for sitting.

Now, whenever I find any dirty place, this struck me. Just think at least we are human and can live better than a Dog.

I am sorry to use this dilauge. But my gardiuns have used this when I was lazy. I hope this motivates you.

  2. Are we related?

I would rather leave home than clean up. Okay, I will straighten or tidy up, but cleaning takes something much deeper--work!

My favorite show is "Clean House." Now, I walk around singing the song "Who Wants A Clean House?" But, I put a spin twist on it. If I'm washing dishes, I sing "Who Wants A Clean Kitchen?" If I'm cleaning the tub, I sing "Who Wants A Clean Bathroom?"

Every since then, I have been effortlessly cleaning the house. However, my son has threatened to move if I sing the song again.

  3. It's hard for me too because I  have people messing it up as soon as I turn around!!!I try to remember how good it feels to look around a tidy room.To know that if someone calls me to do something, I'm ready to go.Also if someone pops over I don't have to be embarrassed.Go for it because it will make you feel better.A tidy house gives us a clear view of things.A messy house makes us feel confused.

  4. Invite someone you love or like at home for a candle light dinner.

Or invite your parents for a dinner if you are alone.....lol....

Or throw a party for friends with girls included.

    The rest will be history.

  5. Use the reward system...deny yourself something you really want until you have your chores done, and then give it to yourself as a reward for good behavior! Pretend like you're cleaning someone elses house.  Put on some of your favorite music and dance your way through it.  Invite your mother-in-law over!

  6. if u reaallyy really want something, say that ur gonna clean the house before you get it

so if u relly want it, ull clean the house

  7. If you are the type who does clean if company is coming over, just invite some people over:)

If you like, I will send over my Mom to you, she will drive you nuts by little comments on how this or that needs cleaned:P

  8. Make a list as you do something on the list cross it off.

  9. If you live alone, like without your parents living with you, then put music, on high and start dancing while you clean, helps for me !!

  10. I like a lot of the advice you've been given and your mental state does improve with clean, organized surroundings. The only think I would add is you not try to tackle everything at once - you'll fell overwhelmed and give up before you start.. Pick a small area in one room and decide how much time you think you can stick to it without stressing out, even if it's only an hour, and when that time is up stop cleaning. Your house didn't get dirty in one day so don't   think you can clean it up in a day. Do this everyday and you will find yourself  getting it done sooner than you thought. Give yourself small reward for reaching your goal on a daily basis and a big treat when you're done. Oh yeah don't forget the music. Just don't listen to anything that would bring you down. Stick to fast, dance to type music.

  11. I clean a little bit every day. While watching tv walk around the living room during commercials and pick up the trash, then walk around the house picking up laundry. A little bit at a time gets the job done. I only scrub my house about once a year and it works fine for me. As for dishes and laundry they get done about every two days but if you stack your dishes they look nicer.
