How can I move my family over to austrailia as a nurse?

I am an American who will graduate nursing school soon and want to raise my son in Austrailia. My husband lives in Jamaica and I would like for all of us to live in Austrailia. Can all of us go when I am approved for a skilled migrant program?

even though you will be a qualified nurse you may find you need 2 years experience working in your country before you can apply as a skilled worker,seeing that you do not live with your husband you may have trouble bringing him with you

If you are accepted as a skilled migrant and given residency as part of you're sponsorship then you're entire family is permitted to enter Australia also. You may need to apply for residency seperately for them and they may need to arrive on a visa to begin with. There is no reason for them not to be given residency unless they have a criminal history.
