How can I move to the US from the UK?

I want to move over to the US from the UK to be with my guy!

The main problem is, I'm not sure how. I could go for an education visa (I'm in my 2nd year of a degree) but they would kick me out at the end of the course.

Do I need anything special for a temporary work visa? I'm not sure if I would be eligible.

  1. TELL ME IF THIS IS UNFAIR...YOU LIVE ACROSS THE ATLANTIC...I LIVE IN TIJUANA...WHICH IS 2 MINUTES AWAY...I BET YOU 1000 OF YOUR POUNDS YOU'LL HAVE IT EASIER THAN ME...AND I DON'T WANT TO GO TO WORK OR LIVE THERE...I JUST WANT TO GO THERE TO SHOP AND GO TO MAGIC MOUNTAIN AGAIN...THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT I'M MEXICAN...YOU ALREADY HAVE A FOOT IN THE U.S.

  2. You would do better to finish your education in the UK before you think about a move, the education cost is only the beginning and US Universities have 4 year degrees to you would have to cover at least 2 more years. If you get a British Honours degree you  have a good chance of having it assessed here as equal to a Masters.

If your only reason for wanting to move is to be with a man, think seriously about marriage. It is one way to get a visa to move here but only if you are ready for the committment. A long distance relationship isn't easy but I managed one for 3 1/2 years before finally moving here.

  3. apply for a tourist visa

  4. Marry him.

  5. prove that you are a gun toting r****d

  6. You not only need qualifications, but work experience, I'm afraid :-(
