  1. Hoodie and Sweats! or shades and a hat-- or run a couple blocks over so you wont be in sight of your direct neighbors!

Ps you could warm up by jogging or walking those few blocks over-- out of sight-- then spring for it. Or you could just be like "What the h**l!! -- I'm running, being healthy and smart about my figure, their fat asses aren't so maybe they should take some notes!"

    Hope this helps!! =)

  2. Meh, don't worry about it! Nobody really pays that much attention.

However, if it bothers you TOO much, run either early in the morning or later in the evening, when less people are likely to be around. It'll also be a lot cooler. Or you can jog some nature trails by your house if there are any. Just make sure you take a friend, as jogging in a secluded area or at night alone isn't a great idea

Another resort, you can check a local gym or club to see if they have female/male only days for workouts.

  3. ride your bike! It's beter excercise and easier on the knees!

  4. Think Of Them Naked, Unless Your Attracted To Them .. That Would Be Awkward...

    lol

Just Dont Worry, Listen To An IPod Or Cd Player Or Something And Sing Along Quietly To Try To Get Your Mind Off It.

    Hope This Helps You

  5. Keep your mind on one thing. Ignore your surroundings but be aware of them. I hate jogging in front of people too but I tone them out so even if they laugh I don't care cause it's good to run.

  6. A balaclava.

but if that gets too hot a mask.

    =]

  7. firstly, why are you self conscience?besides, people shouldnt see you as a loser because your trying to exercise. Its better than just sitting around doing nothing while your life runs by you.

  8. usually people are out walking and sometimes running in neighborhoods.  most neighbors know each other so it doesn't matter.  don't be self conscious.

  9. Aw. ]: I am like you too. Don't wear something that would embarass you, or you are uncomfortable in, and maybe wear something like sunglasses or a hat to cover up. =]

  10. wear a hoody...run early in the morning...you wont worry so much when you see results

  11. I use music so I can't hear if they're laughing. I run forward, I look forward, but I make sure I know where cars are and I try to be safe. I sometimes wear a hat to keep the sun off my face, but other than that. I just ignore people. I also like to wear an outfit I like. I like my shorts, I love the t-shirts i wear over my undershirt and sports bra. I also like the headbands that keep hair from my face and my shoes are killer.

I won't go to a gym because I'm self conscious. My mom judges people when she goes to the gym, especially big people. Totally unfair. They're trying, why should they be laughed at? That's why I never exercise with her.

  12. run faster, or run at night.

  13. who cares what they think?

  14. heres some ideas ..

    1. go early in the morning

    2. go to a different neighbourhood

.. you shouldnt be worried about it anyways , alot of people do it everyday , and its not something to be nervious about , and hey your the one getting exersize anyways , who cares what they think .

  15. Life is wayyyy too short to worry what other people think of you. Good for you for running - it's a great activity. Get out there, run and don't think twice about what your neighbors think.

  16. Run at a park, track, or area close to but not in the immediate vacinity of your house.

But, you shouldn't be self conscious about it.  You're doing something good....exercising and being responsible for your health.  That's great!

    Good luck!

  17. Sunglasses and a hat.

  18. If you're too embarrassed to go running outside, you've got some underlying issues to work on. It's a free country. Anyone who's dumb enough to laugh at you for getting some exercise is a total moron. Laugh at THEM for it.

  19. i understand.

    there are a few choices:

    -get a treadmill

-drive a few blocks away and run there.

-push past the embarrassment and run proudly in your own neighborhood.

  20. how about running where other people run?

  21. running early in the morning might be an idea.

but if you start running, keep it up and get into a routine... you'll get in shape and have nothing to feel embarrassed about.

  22. I wouldn't advise you to close your eyes while running.

  23. Don't worry about them. If they wanna say something to you about running then just beat their sorry little asses. You'll be the one laughing when you're in good shape and they're in the hospital with a heartattack cuz' they sat there.
