I'm going to Six Flags Great America with some friends in 2 days and the last time I went I threw up and felt like sitting out for the rest of the day and I don't want to have that happen again and ruin it for my friends and myself because i love roller coasters. So please, how can I not get motion sickness.

  1. dont eat before you go on it

  2. dont think about it on the ride and dont eat before it

  3. I agree with the folks who suggested an anti-motion sickness pill.

The one I use is called Bonine. It is chewable and available over the counter. You can find it in the pharmacy right next to the Dramamine. It seems to work better for me and does not make me drowsy.

I took my 13 y/o cousin to a coaster event in June. We each took a Bonine, and felt fine after over 30 coaster rides... and we ate lunch too...

Note: Be sure to read the instructions to see if it is OK for you.

    Have fun.

  4. Dont eat a couple hours before you ride a ollercoaster. And also dont have alot to drink try to go to the bathroom right before you get on it...And try not to think about being sick while waiting for the ride....Also Motion sickness pills might be a good idea if you think you might be bad enough to need them. You can also talk to your doctor about it....

  5. Take a medicine like Dramamine (its for prevention of motion sickness). You should be able to find these at your local pharmacy.

Also, do not eat any heavy foods before riding any coaster. (Trust me, from experience this is not a good ideal).

  6. I get motion sickness too like all the time. Even in car rides.  What I do is I take this pill called "Dramamine" they are just like Tylenol and can be purchased over the counter. You also have to take it two hours before. Hope this helps.  Good luck!
