How can I obtain motorcycle insurance (prior DUI)?

Question

I called and an agent who said i had to wait a year and a half to be eligable - 3 years after i crashed my car and got the ticket.

I'm on my parents insurance as a secondary driver. can i claim to be a secondary driver with my own motorcycle?

maybe have it registered in my dads name?

i just got my motorcycle license from a safe driving course and have my driver license

rates will be kinda high with that dui especially with a bike after 3 years. either you keep pricing around or you wait 3 years till that dui clears.
