How can I open a Shockwave Flash Object (.swf file)?

Question

I downloaded a Shockwave Flash Object (.swf file).

How can I open it?

I also downloaded Adobe media player, but

when I want to open it from a program list,

the Adobe media player doesn't appear onto the list.

Try dragging and dropping it right onto your browser. If you can already play flash in your browser, then it should play it. Alternatively you can go to file->open then look for the swf file

You can associate the file type with the appropriate program from

My computer >  

Tools >

Folder Options >

File types>

Add the swf file

Then browse the path of application to associate to it.

Now ok
