How can I open a new febreze bottle?

unscrew the cap... or turn the thing on the nozzle.

You turn the little square nozzle to the part that has a picture of a spray or says "ON" The part that shoots out the scent. Hope that helps!

gotta be smarter than the bottle you're working with! :-)

If you have crewed the little tab on the end to spray and it isn't working, try opening the bottle to see if the hose is attached to the sprayer, I have had them come loose. If not that, you must have a defective sprayer. Either pour it to another spray bottle or return it to the store.~~
