How can I open files after I have joined a yahoo group?

if you don't see the file tab, then it's closed to members. some files are sent to members after they join, depends. some create the as PDF files, Word Docs, if you don't have those programs, then you cant open them.

Go to the main page of the groups.

On the left-hand side list, click on the files section. You can browse the files from there.
