How can I open the video from my cam recorder?

I have this camera flash memory that I can't watch from my computer videos that I recorded. It's really weird b/c everytime when I try to open in any pc program such as real player, media player etc it shows it can not be open. And it's really weird.

It is possible that the camera is encoding the video with a codec you don't have. Check your camera manual, read up about how the videos are saved and encoded and then download the codec it lists.
