How can I order books from Japan that amazon.co.jp won't ship?

There are a series of books I want on Amazon's Japanese site but they won't ship to anywhere outside Japan. I don't know why. So how can I get my hands on these books without actually going to Japan?

Well, i remember asking a seller but not from Japan but from US, and she said its Amazon that is not listing to shipped it internationally..but i'm not sure what she meant ..

Well i want to add on the question he asked..

""Can i ask the seller to ship to me personally?"" like not under Amazon but personal shipping .. but the problem is that those Japanese seller does not speak English~

Many American have ordered goods, including books internationally through Amazon/jp.

Can you tell us the title or genre of these books they won't ship? Are you sure they were not out of stock/out of print at the time you ordered?

I'm in UK and I've been buying from Amazon Japan regularly, I never had any books not being shipped while they were in stock.

The one of the items they refuse to ship internationally are beauty products as they get treated as import/export, while books are not.
