I'm a freshman in h.s. that is playing football, and I'm about 5'7'' and 116. I play safety for our team, but I am somewhat scared to tackle the running back speeding toward me. I know this makes me sound like a wimp, but its an honest question, and hopefully one of yall can help me. So, how can I overcome this fear? Thank you.

  1. Just lower your shoulder and aim for the RB's thighs

  2. well...when ur about to hit some1 just think of the crowd going nuts when u knock the **** outta him go full speed lower ur shoulder helmet to the side of him rap ur arms around him and BAM or if ur scared to hit him like that when hes coming towards u just dive at his sheens and feet and h**l fly and ull get a good tackle trust me imma ROLB for my team and a WR a-team i know alot about football

  3. take ur hand  feel ur nuts and then forget about all ur emotions and c**p and knock the s**t out of the runningback

  4. First thing about tackling is the guy who hits the hardest will feel less pain.  So you go hit hard.  and just wrap up and knock the other guy down.  and once you get a few hits out of the way, you'll have no fear.  so yeah its a little scay are first, but get out and there hit someone and all fears will disappear.

  5. forget the fact you might get hurt just take the pain and be a man

go low and blow them out by the knes

"Pain is temporary respect is forever''

  6. Dont lower your head, hit the runner in  chest with your facemask and wrap up. Like the person above me, once you hit/or get hit, you wont be scared.

  7. grow some balls
