Question:

How can I paint my porcelain sink?

Okay, so a couple years ago my husband painted our porcelain sink....anyone who's tried this knows it does NOT work, right? But once it's painted, it's painted...there's no taking it back. So a couple months ago when my hubby was out of town, I scraped off the old paint to put on a fresh coat. I knew it would eventually chip off again, but I just wanted to give it a fresh start and give him a good surprise. Well, a couple nights ago my husband and I got in an argument and he told me the sink looked like c**p and I used the wrong paint... :( Now I feel like a dope and am looking for suggestions for how to make it look better? Is there a special paint I should try using? And please....I already know it's stupid to paint porcelain...I don't need to be told this. :) Thanks

  1. Buy a new sink.

OR ingnore your hubby he will get the message.

    Works for me :)

  2. Theres a product called "Tough as Tile" its a self leveling epoxy.  It refinishes procelain sinks, tubs, tiles, etc and  Its fairly inexpensive

  3. If you have a local AC Moore, Micheal's or Hobby Lobby they carry the paint for porcelain that you need. Follow all instructions and prep correctly and you should have a beautiful job.

    Good Luck
