How can I participate in education and classroom research with regards to teaching and learning?

Who do I contact to help to understand education better? I happen to work for a school that lets me do whatever I want however I want.

try and find out if any schools in your area are open to the idea of you doing this.

talk to superintendents or principals.

Subscribe to an academic journal such as Reading Research Quarterly.  This will show you what the hot topics in research are today and some of the methods researchers use in the classroom and/or schools.

Find a teacher who is willing to let you do research in his/her classroom, or one who is doing research that will let you help.
