I'm 38 weeks pregnant today, and I will be getting induced in exactly 1 week when I turn 39 weeks! I am VERY excited to finally meet my little man :)

But since finding out about inducing it seems that time has just STOPPED lol. It takes FOREVER for every single day to pass. I only have 1 more week and have already packed my hospital bag, his diaper bag, got the whole nursery together and cleaned and set up. Even set up his swing & playpen in the living room. I have cleaned the house from top to bottom. Rearranged the living room & game room to accomodate everything. And this weekend we are putting brand new tile in his big sisters room. She's 3years old and VERY excited also. She asks me every day "When is your doctor going to take Maddox out?" What else can I possibly do? I have tried sleeping and just relaxing, but it just makes things go slower :(

What did you do in ur last week?

  1. Make an art project with her like a photo album. Spend time with her. My first born was very excited about becoming an older brother too. We made a photo album together. He drew pictures to put in it . Make meals ahead of time, snacks for your daughter. I always had a special box next to where I would sit an nurse my new little one that had books to read the older ones, toys and things to help distract them while I was busy. I always had a blanket for the other child so they could snuggle while I nursed. Good luck!

  2. I know how you feel! I'll be 40 weeks tomarrow but I'll have to wait until Tuesday to meet my lil man.  I've been preparing in every way possible so I no longer have anything to do either. i spent time watching T.V, trying to relax. I know it's hard...I have so much on my mind, I can't even concentrate. I read somewhere that the last week is a good time to write a letter to your baby to put up in their memory box, I know it wouldnt take very long but it might make you feel better and I'm sure the lil guy would really appreciate it one day too!

  3. How about making up some frozen meals for your first week home?

    shepard's pie

    lasagna

    tuna casserole
