Question:

How can I pass the time???

I have bought myself my first horse, but she doesn't arrive until Saturday! That is 4 whole days away! So now I need some ways to pass the time, otherwise I am surely going to go crazy...

I have already gone on a shopping spree and bought half the shop, and had feed delivered, and chosen the paddock which she will be in and made sure they kept it for me. I have set up a tack room in the back of my shed as well. So I am all set to go, but can't stand the waiting!

Any ideas?

  1. I would be getting the stall ready over and over, getting it just right and perfect and making sure that the water bucket is perfectly clean and there are no spiderwebs or nails or whatever in the stall or pasture. You can also oil your saddle(s) and bridle(s) and come up with a good name (if you haven't yet). You can also make plans on where you're going to go with her, and maybe what show's she'll be in. And you can also ask and answer questions on Y/A.

  2. make a training plan for her and go through detail after detail that should take at least 3 haha

  3. very busy tum us horse ko chood do beta..............woh tumhara kaam ka nahi ....................................Love Guru

  4. How about a book on horses. . . Be it riding a horse or taking care of a horse. What ever your interest in the horse is buy a book on it. You will thank your self when the horse comes.

  5. Start a journal and write everything and anything you can think of.

Particularly time and places you will have with your horse.

Start the journal with anticipation of waiting for the arrival, and what and where your first ride will be.

Take photos of the stall and his bed/paddock etc.

    Good luck

Don't think about times, calendar etc. Just relax, be excited, ride someone else's horse, sleep lots to pass time, go out with friends... Trust me, your new baby will get there b4 you can say "I'M SO d**n LUCKY!"
