I'm creating a band website, and we want to offer a webpage with exclusive content. We would like this exclusive page to be password protected. How can I do this?

  1. It would be easier if you put a "no listing" code on those pages so that the search engines will not list them and then give the link(s) to those you want to view it.  The code is this:

    <meta name=robots content=noindex>

    Just right click on any empty space on the page, click HTML, and then paste it into the Head, click OK, save page, publish and you have what I call my attic--where no one can go but whoever I give the link.

  2. You can't password protect pages single handedly. You can only password protect the directory those pages are in. SO my suggesstion to you would be to put all the pages you want to password protect into one directory and then password protect IT
