How can I permanently remove a program from the dock (macbook)?

I always right click and say Remove From Dock on the program but the next time I turn on my computer after turning it off the program comes back and I have to right click again. How can I remove it permanently from the dock? I mean I'm never going to use comiclife.

Just hold it and drag it off the dock and it will have animated smoke.  If you don't want it you can also trash it (go to Applications then drag one to the trash.  Then empty the trash.

If this doesn't work there is something wrong.

Move the program to the desktop. It will disappear from your dock. Then, if it is on your desktop, move it to the trash!

Hold your mouse down on the icon and it will ask if you want it off the dock

Just right click on it or click and hold on it and there will be an option if you don't want it on there anymore.
