How can I perserve a real dragonfly?

I found a perfect (dead) dragonfly on the ground the other day. Not one thing on it was broken. It is 2-1/2" long with beautiful, delicate wings.

Keep it in a cool dry place with some air circulation and it will dry out and keep for a long time. The wings and body will become very brittle when it has dried out, and the colors may fade.

I guess you could spray it with a laquer or hairspray.
