How can I persuade my parents into buying me a Nokia N78?

I've always want to have a cool phone since high school. I just kept wishing and praying that I'll have a cool phone soon. Graduation came and mom gave me a box. I knew it was a phone, I was excited and I thought it was a cool phone. But when I opened it, it sucks a nokia 6070!wtf?! mom knows my standards and that kind of phone is not my taste. I was kinda expecting a higher kind of phone with a clear camera and records clear video, with a music player and etc..6070 doesn't even have one of those feautures! the camera sucks and so much the video!! no music player and the memory is only 3 megabytes!! and it's not expandable! so I was deppressed until now because she's not buying the phone I've been wishing to have.

I know she's not that poor, she used to have a Vodafone 804SS and she just destroyed it when she got angry..and after a week she bought a nokia n95!! so she's not poor. I wanna ask her, why did she let anger consume her and she destroyed her vodafone 804ss, she could have just gave it to me..My birthday was march 3, i thought that finally she's gonna have mercy on me, but no...

So until now I still don't have the phone I've been wishing.

Mom has a L*****n relationship with a woman I consider as an aunt and I'm close to her, both of their phones are nokia n95!

aunt always say to me that she'l buy me a new phone(that was before my birthday) and I was all like very happy. My birthday came but she didn't gave me a new phone and I ended up crying my eyes of 'coz I believed so much on what she said..Until now I'm still wishing to have an n78, I know that mom and aunt have the money, but they won't buy me a new one. I know that I'm responsible enough to own such a phone.. I'm good in my studies and I was a dean's lister last semester.

They won't buy me!! huhuhuhuhuhuhuhu..

my old phone is already broken, the speakers are broken and the phone always don't respond to what I'm pressing..

how can I convince them into buying me a Nokia N78?

I know I deserve it..and I'm frustrated right now because I want it so badly!!

Can anyone help me? convince aunt and mom?

Or are there any rich and kind hearted people here who can just buy me a Nokia n78? I know it's stupid to ask someone in the internet for a new phone but I really want it so badly!! and I'll do anything to have it so I hope that you can understand me.

Hey, Nokia N78 is bad for now because it already has the successor, The Nokia N79. Nokia N79 has all the Nokia N78 specification + 5 MP Camera with dual flash and lens cover, record video at VGA 30 FPS, lighter and changeable back cover colors. When you change the back cover, The theme color will change too. Example: If you use the blue back cover, theme color is blue. If you use a red back cover, theme color is red. Nokia N79 also have accelerometer for auto rotate user interface, FM radio with RDS,

Say to your mum or your aunt that your phone is broke and it is very important to get a new phone because you can't tell them if you are in an emergency situation like car accident.

You should be grateful that you even got a phone. You want a better one, get a job and pay for it yourself. Only THEN will you deserve it. You don't deserve good, expensive things from your parents just for existing, you've got to actually DO something to deserve and earn things in life. Welcome to the real world.

As for the phone been broken, yeah, okay, that's fair enough - in the modern world it's pretty important to have a working phone. I'd still recommend getting a job, but if that's not possible, well, tell your parents your old phone is busted and you need a new one to keep in contact with them and in case of emergencies - emphasis how much it would suck if you died just because your phone didn't work proper, your parents will get the idea. If you have to, offer to do chores/work for them to earn it. Tell them that you want to take decent photos and are into photography, but don't want to blow heaps of money on a camera, so you just want a phone which has a decent built in camera so it serves two purposes. Tell them that you'll be careful with this phone, take good care of it. If they're still not convinced, tell them that you will pay them back once you can afford to. You get the idea, just polish your arguing skills.
