  1. get a job waiting tables or mowing grass there. Then on Mondays ask the pro if you can chase it around.

  2. Unless you know a member who will extend an invitation to you, chances are you will not be allowed to play Congressional Country Club. It is similiar to any private club. The  play is limited to members and their guests. There are clubs where guests can only play if accompanied by a member.

  3. 1. If you are a member of a comparable private club, you may be able to get on with a reciprocal arrangement from your home course.

    2. There are a couple of pro ams associated with the "Tiger Tournament" in July.  You have to be willing to crack open your wallet pretty wide.  I would guess that it would cost you in the vicinity of $10k.

    3. Write a check for $90,000.  Then you can be on the waiting list for membership.

  4. Get invited to be the guest of a member there.

  5. Unfortunately, Congressional is a members only private country club.  Unless you have a membership or the guest of a member, then you will not be able to play.

I believe they are playing the USGA Amateur Championship there is either 2009 or 2010.  I am not sure if they are playing both men and women's.  But if they are, then that is another way to get on and play.

  6. Become friendly with a member (and have a good reciprocal option), pony up six figures for membership (once you're invited) to get on the waiting list, or pony up $10,000 to play in the Pro-Am for the AT&T National.
