How can I play Volleyball when our school doesnt have a team??

ok, i finally found a sport that im good at, but our school doesnt have a team. me and like six other people like it, but im the ONLY one who is serious about making a team up. none of the coaches want to have a v-ball team. how can i satisfy my need to play?? (im a guy in a small high school, if that helps)

you could get thoes people who want to play and just have like a little co-ed league by yourself with no coaches...they dont matter anyway...just have it be for fun....go to a park and set up a net and BBQ some stuff and just make it like a party lol it would be fun and you could play doubles or 3 on 3 or whatever depends on how many people are interested................also if you can get some gym time that would be even better....just set up the nets and have like a 2 hour schrimage thing with the people that want to play................but you should really talk to the school board about getting a team together if theres enough people that want to play, then have them all sign a petition...also you might ask a teacher or parent to be the coach of your school league

In high school, there were 5 of us seniors that got cut from the varsity basketball team.  We asked when there was open floor space.  The girl's basketball team practiced right after school and the gym was open after that.  The five of us went in and started practicing as soon as the girls got done.  We were found out by some others and some faculty.  We had some great 5 on 5 games after that.  The boy's freshman team coach wanted an additional opponent for his team to play.  The five of us played them and beat them.  The JV team wanted the same thing.  We beat them as well.

Go to the coaches and ask them when you could get a group together and play.  Ask the girl's volleyball coaches when you can play.  Talk to the girls on the team and see if they would help you out.  Once you find the times that the courts are available and post flyers around time.

Most cities have volleyball clinics or teams. Look around and find info about it. Also you could make some kind of petition about why you want a volleyball team. If they see that your really serious they may change their minds.

Your local YMCA has volleyball teams. Check around your community there has to be some volleyball stuff that goes on

go play at another school..i know a couple kids go play hockey cause we don't have a team..but they still attend school with me...i'm assuming you can also do something like that

i am guessing since you live in a small town, you don't have a volleyball club.

but if you do, that would be your best bet.

if you have any rec centers in your area, they usually will have volleyball there.

or you could just play pick-up games with your friends, like after school. just get some people and play for fun!

Find a local club.  Club VB or private school teams are great.
