How can I play a Coax TV signal through an audio receiver in another room(doens't have a Coax input, just RCA)

TV signal is distributed via Coax through home. Want to take the audio from that and play it through an Audio receiver that is not located near any television.

  1. YOu can utilize a VCR that has both coax and rca input and outputs.  Connect the Coax to the VCR then to the TV, and also the audio out to the receiver via RCA to AUX.  Simply turn the vcr on to channel 3 or 4 whatever is the default in your area for a non transmitting station.  You should have audio.


  2. You want to demodulate the RF (coax) signal to baseband audio.
