just come over, i have popcorn and other snacks. beer wine and alcohol. bring some friends and we will make a party of it. or go to yahoo games log in and select board games/chess find a table and join.

but my house is more fun.

To get in a game with anyone try any of the already offered websites or some/one of the following:

www.chessclub.com (as a guest, otherwise pay to play)

www.freechess.org (Free as long as you have a ISP and only want one account.  Kind of a hassle to join.)

www.redhotpawn (Yes... I know, an odd name)

www.net-chess.com (Correspondence style chess or quicker games.)

This list should be good enough for you to start.  Enjoy the playing the game!

Most of the websites have games to play online.  I personally like pogo, and do play Chess there.  It is free, unless you want to be a pogo member.  But there alot of places that allow you to play againist other players.  Just type in online games and you should get alot of websites.
