How can I play as a pet on Sims 2 Pets?

I've played as a pet on Sims 2 Pets but the pet won't move!!! I don't understand why?! Pleese help!

You cannot control your pet because it is not human we are not allowed to tamper with animals because well we don't know how to act like them Sims 2 has chosen that decision.

They are clickable because to see what their needs are that is all you can do.

Its not possible to play as pet, but you can use the TAB key to zoom in on your pet and watch them play zoomed in, I don't know if it will work or not if you can click your pet then press TAB, if you can, you'll feel really apart of the scene. Just press TAB again to get out.

the thing is you can be the pet but unlike being people you can't make them move. I know, it disapointed me to!
