How can I play tapes from a video camera if the camera is broken?

I run my own business that offers multiple services with video editing stuff and one of those is converting people's analog home video tapes to digital. I've run into some issues with people needing this done but they have those camcorder tapes instead of vhs and their camcorder is broken or they lost it. Is there some kind of machine or something that I can get to play these tapes into my Mac so I can convert them to digital?
