  1. What I do is I go in my Backyard and Repeatedly pass and set to my self and if you can you can practice serving over you're roof but, try not to get it over the roof so when it comes down you can pass it or set it back on the roof and you can make it a game where you count how many times you can hit it before it hits the ground. You could also use the walls but that's kinda hard.

  2. I have played volleyball for 5 years so far, and I really recommend just hitting the ball against the wall or to yourself and see how many you could get in a row. As far as tryouts are concerned, wear the same color (it's better if it's vibrant) EVERY day, make sure that the coach knows that you are versatile and can play many positions (volunteer to be a setter, hitter, libero ect.), be very loud and call the ball, and have fun and be enthusiastic! P.S. It never hurts to go up to a coach in the beginning and say, "Hi my name is ( ), I love volleyball, and I would really like to be on your team." Good luck!!! I hope you make the team!

  3. You can pass with yourself, then set to yourself, then you can pass then set alternatively, Always call the ball ex "mine, mine, mine, my ball, mine,"

too. Then you can get crazy then pass, set, then like bounce it on your head, then pass, and over and over, Also, on try out day, don't be too nervous and wear something that will make you stand out like a vibrant color teeshirt.. Also, be encouraging to other girls like giving high fives and saying nice try and stuff like that. Thats a major plus in coaches eyes. Also, don't goof off with anyone. I really hope you make it and good luck!
