Do I need to buy anything?

What do they do on first several days?

Do I need to go to the school before the school starts?

If you had this experience, I appreciate your advice.

Thank you.

  1. well i started middle school in 5th grade i'm now going into 7th. at my school the school usally does a tour before school starts so everybody is prepared. just hang by your friends so you feel better!

  2. Middle school really isnt as hard as people make it out to be. As long as you listen and do your work than you will be perfectly fine. you dont have to buy anything unless you have a supply list if  you have a list than you probably should. on the first few days of school you usually learn the rules and get used to everything. going to the school before school starts would be a good idea so you can get to know the school before school actually starts. Im going to highschool so im a little nervous too! Good Luck

  3. My daughter's starting middle school (6th grade) and I'm the one that's a little nervous. But anyway do you have any friends that are going to the same middle school?  You can stick together and help each other out.  I think you should just take a notebook and pen and maybe a few dollars because where I live you have to pay for a locker.  If you have any problems go to the office the people should help out if get a little confused.  If you could you should go to the school and look around just so you can get a feel of the school if the people don't mind.

  4. on the first week all you need is a spiral and a pen. You normally just get syllabus and supply list in each class.

  5. Look on a school website and there's usually a supply list. If there isn't then your teachers should tell you in the first few days. The first few days are fun! You get the ground rules, tell people about yourself, meet new people, and things like that. You don't need to go to the school before it starts unless you get a not that says you do. Have fun!!!

  6. 1. For the first day, just bring a notebook and a pencil, later on you might need folders and/or a binder

    2. You just get your lockers and stuff and they talk alot about the rules etc

    3. Yeah, most likely they will have an open house for you to get your schedules, meet your teachers, and show you how the periods work
