  1. I've been to Cancun three times and we calculate the amount of money we will need this way:

Double the amount of money your trip will cost (airfare &hotel) and then a little bit more just in case so you won't have to limit yourself over there for fun. Remember food, drinks and tours are among the most expensive things.

  2. First thing that you'll need to do is book early, as fewer & fewer hotels are now catering for Spring Break, a good suggestion would be the Oasis Cancun, as it's big and usually packed full of people during that period of time. Next, find some people that you think you wouldn't mind sharing a room with, as it makes it cheaper if you have 4 to a room. Next, take a look online for Cancun Discounts to see what deals you can get in Cancun. Maybe take a look at www.studentcity.com and see what they are offering. I would reckon on $150.00 USD per person per night for the Hotel, All Inclusive, and then $40.00 USD per night for the Clubs, which are Open Bar... the only thing you'd have to watch for is the shots girls. Another good night out is the Party Hopper Tour, which does 4 Bars & Clubs during the night, with Open Bar and Express pass at each one. Not sure what deals studentcity do for their clients, but they are everywhere here in Cancun during Spring Break, so maybe they do discounted rates if you buy a package with them.

    Hope this helps.
