Anything I can do over the summer? The only time I've played is when we had a couple lessons in class and my teacher says he wants me to go on the girls' team next year.

  1. Work on your cardio, jog every other day in the morning or evening. Rugby is a tiring sport. Hit the weights especially with your legs since rugby requires a lot of running back and fourth

  2. Practice, get into shape , build your strength and stamina

  3. Try swimmimg, why i say this is through my personal experience, firstly you will not suffer injury so you will be able to take part in the next season, it will devlop your legs, stomach, and upper body strength, it also will increase your lungs,(air capcity ) you can also try running in the water at the beach, by runnuning in the water thigh deep this helps build muscle in that area, which increase your leg strength, & you can combine this with a gym workout 4 times a week, see a personal trainer to devlop a programme,or if finances are thin get a mate to train with you as you tend to push yourself harder if you have someone to train with..........THE COACH

  4. Go to a batting cage..and let the balls come out and hit you.
