How can I preserve a 4-5 day old mako shark jaw with teeth, and how long will they stay preserved?

  1. Prop the jaws open to the position you like and dry them in the sun. Be sure there's no (or very little) meat on the jaw. Once they are completely dry mount them on a board and give them a couple coats of clear lacquer or polyurethane. Should last 100+ years or so.
