I've tried changing my yahoo user name and password to no avail. I keep getting ALL the communications from the group-the Central Carolina Havanese Club- even when not directly meant for me, and ALL of these chats come to my personal e-mail site, that has a different user name & e-mail address.. Help!!! This is clogging up my personal e-mail site !!- You may e-mail me at Cloverswanns@netscape.com.......Thanks, Kathi Swann

  1. go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the column Email Address click the arrow for the drop down box and select new address- click save changes

  2. You need to change the e-mail address that's registered with the Group.  If you haven't already done so, verify the e-mail addrress you want Group messages to come to by going to http://groups.yahoo.com/myprefs and clicking on Add Email Address (towards the upper-left-hand corner).  Then follow the directions on the resulting screen.

Once you've finished that (or if the e-mail adress you want Group messages to go to is already listed on http://groups.yahoo.com/myprefs ), then go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups and click on Edit My Groups (towards the upper-left-hand corner).  Then locate the Group on the left, and in its row and the Email Address column, use the pull-down list to change it to the e-mail address you want Group messages to go to.  Don't forget to click the Save Changes button when you're done.
