i shave my underarms almost every day (other than the days i stay home) and i do my bikini line about every other week. i shave in the shower and i use good, sharp razors and thick shaving cream. however, i always seem to get razor burn/rash from it. are there any at-home remedies or preventions i could use? (i've tried vaseline, but it didn't work very well.) help!

  1. I have to shave my bikini area legs and underarms daily and the only thing I have found is using Noxzema, the old kind in the blue tub, to shave with then pat dry and apply deodorant down there.

  2. OK, so I'm a guy and I don't shave those areas, but I do have sensitive skin.  What a dermatologist told me is to be careful with your strokes.  A lot of people run the razor two, three or four times over the same spot in rapid succession, and that can cause the burn.  he told me to do just one or two strokes and use moreshaving cream if a I missed a spot.
