How can I program a Craftsman garage door opener with a Stanley transmitter? More info in the details section.

I tried looking up for help on the web already but so far no luck! someone here might be bright enough to know and kind enough to help me out. Thanks in advance, God bless!

  1. No.  Your opener uses digital codes.  While the remote uses dip switches.  

    New remotes only cost about $30.  If I am correct you have a red learn code button on the back of the opener so you will need a 95lm remote.  Any garage door company carries them.


  2. I have worked in the Security industry for over 36 years, & have installed garage door openers, & other devices that use wireless transmitters & receivers. It has been my experience that you can never find any compatability between manufacturers. The only exception to that would be when two devices that are marketed under different product names are actually built by the same manufacturer.

    As far as I know, Stanley & Craftsman are two  distinct products & can not be expected to have any cross-compatability.
