How can I program my dish control with my new tv?

It is a 2WIRE IR/UHF PRO control. I looked on http://www.helpme.att.net and i cannot find a solution. It is the TV2 control. It lets us change the channel but we want to be able to put up the volume and control the tv. How can we program it to the TV? It is a Panasonic TV.

with your tv on....

hold the tv button down on the upper top left of your remote until all the top buttons light up

hit the red tv power button on your remote

channel up until your tv shuts off

hit the pound button on the bottom of the remote

now your remote should be programmed to your remote. keep in mine, if your tv is a tv/vcr combo , more than likely you will not be able to do this.
