How can I promote my free host?

I have made my own free hosting website at http://websinch.com/ and I am lacking REAL users (Currently i have friends helping me out).

I would like to know what I can do to help promote my site since everything I do doesn't seem to help much.

The sales copy for the first page says welcome to your 'site name' without any emphasis on the free hosting or how the free hosting works. Try adding a brief list of steps needed to get free hosting. Posts where? How to post? A basic "How it Works" in the front page. I would change the header text to Free Web Hosting and of course make a sales copy of the free hosting in the first paragraph.

Now the visitor problem is obvious ... you only have one instance of your site in Google. You will need and want thousands of mentions (links). Start submitting your site to free directories to start a little boost then extend your link popularity through Article writting and press releases.

There is much more to be done, but start there. If you have the option for title for the anchor URL use "Free Hosting" and forget the name of your business. Some directories require business name only for free listings though.

U need to know why people are coming for free web hosting services. Make it sound appealing for them.

Your first page doesn't provide them with any information at all. Maybe you should add in some graphics so that they can understand what you are trying to say.

And I think you might want to try out article marketing strategy to get high quality backlinks from article directories. And you can use your keywords as the anchor text to increase your ranking for that keyword in the search engines.

You can write those articles yourself, but if in doubt, I would recommend you to consult reliable article writers with SEO knowledge. This can help you to save time and will be beneficial for you and your free web hosting service in the long run.

Not sure about the 5 posts thing. What's the purpose? Are you trying to build a forum or hosting company?

I would also look at enhancing the design a little. Take a look at some of the bigger guys and take some cues from them as far as aesthetics go so it legitimizes your operations. people buy packaging just as much as they buy features. Maybe do a  paid vs. free comparison chart so people don't assume free is bad.
