Question:

How can I pull myself through the day without falling asleep?

I'm going to try to put myself back on my sleep schedule (bed at like 9 or 10 pm and up at 6 am) and I want to skip a night of sleep so I will be tired tomorrow night for sleep to put me back on schedule. I've done this before out of boredom but can only take it until 7 or 8 am until I completely crash and sleep until 3 pm. Please help!

  4. I would just like to say hi and thank you for your answer on my "question" (I reversed my sleep cycle). So far, your was the best :). I'm going to try it tonight (er, it about 1:16...so my goal is to be asleep by at least 2 am...haha baby steps)

    And wow yea, your problem is just like mine, i mean, i tried to do an all day thing and even drank coffee, but i crashed around 10am and stayed in be until about 6:30...which just made my sleep cycle worse :P

    So anyway, i wish you the best of luck with your all day/all nighter, and i hope we both can get back on the natural sleep cycle soon! (I have 4 days to do it until i pass out in homeroom on the first day of school!)

  5. anyone in any condition can be up for like 72 hours without falling down asleep so i suggest keep active and entertained all day. avoid laying down and put it out of your head that you didnt sleep the last night then you will get your 2nd or 3rd wind

    if that fails try taking aderal at like 6 am or coke or crystal meth any of thoes should keep you going. also lsd will keep you up and make your day more interesting

    or you can try taking like tylonal PM at like 9 PM or any sleep aid or drink till you pass out with your alarm set for 6 so you wake up rested and could continue this schedual

  8. My suggestion would be to avoid that technique altogether and go the more sensible approach of setting your alarm clock earlier each day and not taking a nap during the day, and avoid caffiene laden drinks after 6 pm.    

  9. it's a bit unhealthy.

    you can go to bead as late as you want, but get up at 6am next morning, being up all day you will fall asleep by 9pm.
