I have a 92 Honda accord and I want to put some 20 inch chrome wheels on it. Most chrome rims come with five lug nuts, but on my honda you can only put rims that consist of four lug nuts. Can anyone help?

  1. umm i dont no . i guess its not goin fit at all. if the holes doesnt match the lug nut.

  2. I'm not sure if I should tell you how to do this or not ! OK look on line for WHEEL ADAPTERS for your 4 lug Honda to whatever lug pattern of the wheels you want. BUT, that's the easy part your going to have to make your fenders wider there going to rub on the frame when you turn and they make your car slow as h**l. just go with some 17's

  3. Why spend $3000 on wheels for a $300 car?

Are we missing the sound financial decision here?

What next?  A college kid with no money who drives 200 miles a month wanting to buy a 2008-2009 model car?  Been three already, too!

  4. A - it would look redneck trashy.

B - it would ride like c**p with almost no sidewall to flex and absorb bumps.

C - it would take more gas and wear out brakes faster due to increased unsprung weight.

D - the wheels and tires would be worth as much as, likely even more than, the rest of the car, and wouldn't be covered by your insurance unless you could buy a specific rider for them.

  5. PROTIP:

Your factory rims are carefully selected to endow your car with tasteful elegance. Seldom have I ever seen a car improved with aftermarket rims, even sporty cars that shipped with drab non-alloy sets. Oversized rims just add a whole nother level of ugly, plus they throw off your odometer and prematurely wear out your drivetrain. If you need something classier, why not sell the Honda and buy a Cressida. Nice Japanese near-luxury, made to '92. Fairly uncommon, so you may stand out a bit in a GOOD way, too.

Seriously, how do you want to be percieved when you roll down that boulevard, as the tasteful individual with aspirations, or as the clown who spent his whole Mcdonalds salary and stole from his Grandma to buy rims that don't even fit his car (it's what many assume, right or wrong). Your pick!

  6. uh, i you have to worry about more than that...you need a lot of body work done to your car to even fit that rim in your wheel well...not only wheel a 20 not fit, when you try to turn, your tires are goin to scrap the inside of your car, if you want 20s, i suggest you get a new car

  7. You can't.

Your car's stock tires are 195/60R15.  This means the overall diameter of your tires should be 24.2 inches.  With a 20" wheel, that leaves very little sidewall height.  Even if you could find a tire like that, you would destroy them (along with the wheels, probably) the first time you hit a pothole.
