I took a picture and would like to make it a letter head. I tried copy past and cut past. I would also like to re-size it so it can fit as a letter head.

  1. Open the folder that contains the image and drag and drop it into your word file.  If you are going to use it as a letterhead you probably want to drop it into the header section of your document.  Once in there you can click on the handlebars on the image and resize it.  However if you want to do other editing/cropping think of editing the document first in a photo editer(gimp/photoshop/paint shop/etc.) then inserting it in  your document.

  2. In Word, click Insert and select Picture and then From File.  Browse and select your picture to put it in your document.  Double click on the photo and a format picture window should appear which will allow you to modify the picture size.

  3. Open the image with paint (right click > open with... > paint)

    select what you need from an image, right click in selected area, select copy, go in the word document, right click and select paste, done!

    Use paint to change the image to your pleasure.

  4. Well it depend on which one you have and what computer you have, but this usually works;

    Go to Insert, Picture, and then click on from file, and just find and pick the one you want....
