How can I qualify to play in the Olympics?

I am a very talented (so I've been told) 16 year old table tennis player from Merseyside. Is there any way I could get trials to join the british team at the olympics in 2012, or in any competition for that matter?

I don't know.But the 2nd response said to go professional. I didn't think Olympic athletes were allowed to be professional.

So one thing is you must be an amature in your sport

You have to be the best in your region and one of the best in your country!

Join a club or get professional, i dont think you could make it because you dont understand the rules and the consequenses
