Question:

How can I "weave" photoshop layers?

I would like one of my texts to be ontop of the

graphic's head, but behind it's hand.

So it is "weaved".

So instead of just placing the layer under the 2nd, I want it

both ontop of it, and under.

  1. I'd love to have someone answer with a way to do that, but as far as I know there is no automatic method.

Basically, you'll have to create your text, duplicate the layer and mask out  part of it on one layer and the other part on another. I'm running CS2 and I can mask type without rasterizing it which is nice because you could still go back in and change the type. Not sure if earlier versions are capable.

    Hope that was enough info.
