How can I raise money to buy my friend a good birthday gift?

I want to get her something good this year. Her birthdays in october so I was wondering what I could get her. Something worth it. Two other friends are involved. Any ideas?!

You could ask other friends to chip in.

Try being more prudent with your money to save it up.  Like maybe instead of spending five dollars on coffee and a muffin in the morning, put it aside for your friends gift.  Or, if you have a job, when you get your paycheque, put a percentage of it aside.

I know I sound like a mother lecturing her kids on saving money, but hey, it's important to know how to save =)

birthday presents don`t have to be dear to be good it`s the thought that goes behind the present that counts.

you could maybe try to make her a present yourself their are lots of craft or d.i.y. books in the  library or to download from internet.

or you could organize a surprise birthday party and ask friends to bring something towards the buffet or drinks.

how would it be with a moonlight walk and picnic if the park if there is one in your near.

or sing her a song or read a poem that you wrote yourself.

you know your girlfriend on best ,think out something that she would appreciate.she knows your financial position so wouldn`t hold it against you.if she anything worth she will appreciate the present more as it comes from the heart.the best present you can give anyone is to be there for them and to show them that they are important to you and that you care.

just read your question again,realized it`s coming from a girl not boyfriend,a couple of the suggestions are still applicable but here`s a couple extra

you could organize a make-up and facial party.

or get a load of friends together,sharing your wardrobe and put on a fashion show.

organize a pajamas party.

either way make sure you all have fun.
