There used to be "create-arrange" buttons at the bottom of my list. Now only "create".

  1. Well, the screens seem to change all the time (and not always for the better!!).

Right now, I'd agree with you that you can't rearrange your list of portfolios, only the stocks w/in the portfolio (that the other answers attempt to address).

This sounds like you might need to contact Y!F directly.  Maybe they'll bring back the feature for us to sort our portfolios as we'd like.

Here's how to get to a page to report your problem directly to Yahoo!

In Yahoo!Finance, at the top right of the page, there's a help link. Click on that to get your here

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/finance...

Then click on one of the links on the left like quote basics. Here's that page:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/finance...

Finally, at the bottom is the contact customer care button. Yes, it's convoluted, but that's one way to get there!

Oh, or just click here (if it works). (hard for me to test if it works since I clicked through to get there)

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/finance...

Once you get there and ask your question, they're pretty good at getting back to you, but you may have to ask/answer back and forth a couple of times.

    Hope that helps!

  2. Click the drop down arrow, on the finance button, on yahoo toolbar. Then, click,create/edit. In the left column, is the portfolio order. Don't forget to hit finished when you're done.

  3. in the "edit portfolio" section there is an option to "sort alphabetically"
