How can I record my own music on my PC?

I can really only sing and I hardly play they piano.

You can get a recording software on your computer.

But if you want just a simply set up, just  sing through a mic on your cpu.

As mentioned above, a microphone is key. If you don't have one built in, you will have to purchase one (any local electronics or music store will do), and plug it into your microphone/line-in jack on your computer. To actually do the recording, a number of computer programs could get the job done. I'd recommend Audacity. Free, easy to use, decent features.
