How can I recover deleted files in "My Documents" folder?

I am trying to recover a few old files from the "My Documents" folder. I have seen various recover programs online but none of them list that folder as an option; only the regular drives (C:, D:, etc.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your My Documents folder is most likely saved in C: so you should scan it. You are not guaranteed to find the files and if you do they may be corrupt.

you could try Pandora Recovery:

download and install the software on your pc. I tried it and I recovered some old deleted files/documents.
