How can I recover the Approval function as I am moderator?

I have been moderator for my office yahoo group since mid of 2006. In second week of Feb 2008, I suddenly recieved new messages posted without my approval. And even now, there are 9 msgs waiting approval, but I cannot do anything. I am really appreciated if someone can suggest what should I do inorder to handle this problem.

if you're a moderator, you'll need to speak with the owner who is the only one who can edit your mod priviledges
