go to a supermarket like Pathmark and they have vending machines that you can recycle in the plastic sector.

Can you? My local council runs a regular recycling collection of bottles and glass but they request you to remove bottle tops and corks and put these in the black bag non recycle rubbish.I assumed that the type of plastic or metal that tops were made of were not reuse able.
