Contact lumber yards in your area about your used wood.  If it is still in good conidition, they may take it and reuse it.  A lot of people are recycling lumber and using it to create "distressed" furniture.  I know people use old barn wood all the time.  I don't see why they can't use your old deck wood if it is still in decent condition.

  3. Your local habitat for humanity store should take it, they take a lot of old used lumber and things in my area.  You can google habitat for humanity and your city name and their site should pop up.  You can always phone them and ask, they will probably take it.

  4. Offer it on Craigslist or Freecycle.
