How can I redo 2007 tax?

I filed my 2007 tax form on line. Now, if I want to change my tutoring income from wage income to business income, what should I do?

If you got a W-2 for it, it is wages.  If not, it's business income.  Are you saying that you put something on your return on the wages line that was not W-2 income?

Fill out an entirely new return with the correction made, using form 1040, schedule C or C-EZ, and schedule SE.  Then lay the two returns, the original and the new one,  side by side and fill out a form 1040X.  Mail in the 1040X and a check for the additional tax.
